Sentilla is proud to have developed Sentilla Energy Manager, a powerful and extensible energy management enterprise solution for data centers.  Sentilla Energy Manager is a complete, software-only platform that monitors, analyzes and reports energy usage and capacity.  Analysis is provided by the Sentilla Analysis Engine, which takes in data collected from all corners of the data center, and extracts actionable items for the end user.  The Analysis Engine offers insight and alerts into the performance and health of the data center.

The Sentilla Energy Manager architecture brings the power of Java Enterprise Edition and real-time software to energy management for data centers.  Sentilla Energy Manager is a platform and protocol agnostic solution: its core modules grab power and utilization data points over SNMP, Modbus, iLO, etc. regardless of equipment type, vendor, or management tool.  Its internal infrastructure’s openness and flexibility make it particularly attractive to users with very diverse equipment and to developers eager to extend its capabilities to cater to their most specific needs.

Developers who wish to integrate with their own software can tap into the power of the Sentilla Energy Manager platform.  Developers can take advantage of the data collection capabilities of Sentilla Energy Manager, or they can channel the Analysis Engine’s outputs to provide intelligence to their own systems and applications.  To facilitate their efforts, Sentilla Energy Manager provides SOAP and REST-ful interfaces.  APIs are also accessible via Java programs as EJB Remote interfaces.  API documentation and references are available by sending a request at semsupport@sentilla.com.
